From the moment Valerie first described her Windmill Winery wedding to us, we fell in love. A spring wedding. Light pink and gold wedding colors. A lake house at a winery. All the little details that make our photographer hearts swoon. And then we met Valerie and David for coffee, and we fell even harder! Valerie is so sweet, so genuine, and so down to earth. And David? He’s one of the kindest, coolest, and most easy going guys we’ve ever met! And we just adore the two of them together.

It may have rained on their wedding day, but that didn’t stop Valerie and David. The love that these two share for one another was evident from our first meeting to the night of their wedding. If we were to use one word to completely describe their day, it would be joyful. Everything about their wedding day was full of joy and it was contagious. So much so that when it came time for us to go, we almost didn’t want to leave! Because as photographers, we get to witness really special moments throughout a wedding day. Quiet moments and loud moments. Tender and intimate moments, and big, unforgettable, and unexpected moments. There’s a wide range of emotions and we love it all!

And then it hit us… How did we get to be so lucky? To have couples that trust us completely to capture their love and write the best chapters of their story. It is such an honor and one that we certainly don’t take lightly. So to Valerie and David, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
