Oh friends, do we have some epic Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend engagement photos to share. Imagine some happy dancing going on today! As photographers, we’ve always had a bucket list of allllll the places that we’ve wanted to visit and photograph. And one of those items? You guessed it- was Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend here in Northern Arizona. It’s funny, Bryan and I are fortunate in that we get to travel pretty frequently for our work. But we’ve never had the opportunity to visit these two places right here in our own home state. So, you can just imagine our excitement when we found out we would be able to photograph one of our couples, Annie and Pablo, there for their engagement photos. It was such a treat and even more special because if you know Annie and Pablo, you know they are some of the kindest and sweetest human beings on the planet. We love to brag on our couples, but really- they are the best!

We had the pleasure of meeting Annie and Pablo through our previous bride and groom, Akasha and Hector. And right away, when we began emailing back and forth, we just knew that we were going to love them. That thought was immediately confirmed when we finally got to meet them in person. They are an incredible couple and beautiful inside and out. And funnily enough, we kept laughing over how much resemblance there was between Pablo and Bryan. Not just in looks and how they came dressed in nearly matching outfits for the day, but literally in humor and sarcasm. Those two were hilarious together and we just had so much fun hanging out!

The day started with a road trip to the northern border of Arizona (the furthest north either of us had ventured in AZ!). We began with a tour of Antelope Canyon, which was so amazing by the way- we highly recommend it to everyone! Then filled our stomachs with delicious burgers and beers, and continued our adventures at Horseshoe Bend. Annie was dressed in a sultry white gown with a beautiful Southwest inspired silver and turquoise necklace- perfect for our romantic desert engagement session! And the two of them were just stunning together. The entirety of the day was filled with so much love, laughter, and adventure- we just couldn’t imagine it getting any better. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of the day knowing that we wouldn’t be able to see them again for months until the wedding (they’re both from out of state). But it wasn’t only because of that. In just a short amount of time, Annie and Pablo instantly felt like best friends we’ve had all along.

Annie and Pablo, you just made our entire month- no, scratch that… entire year! Thank you for flying all the way out here from California to spend time with us (and for sweetly gifting us the bottle of wine for our anniversary!!!) We are speechless and feel so incredibly honored! We truly can’t wait for your Napa wedding next year and to finally meet your fur babies, Vino and Jude. Until then, we’ll be ogling at pictures of them online and counting down the days until the wedding!!
