Could we have asked for anything better? These Scorpion Gulch and South Mountain Park engagement photos were the perfect way to kick off our spring wedding and engagement season! An incredible couple, a gorgeous location, and beautiful light… check, check, and check! Plus we were happy to welcome the warmer weather following the bizarre winter cold front we’ve been experiencing lately. Give us all the sunshine, all the warmth, and all the flowers!! We loved our time spent with Taylor and Alex and having them in front of our cameras was so much fun!
Most people don’t know this, but Scorpion Gulch is an awesome, historic spot located in South Mountain Park in Phoenix, AZ. It was originally built as a home and store in which jewelry, Indian curios, and leather goods were sold. Today, it’s open to the public and it’s one of our favorite spots to shoot when we’re in the Phoenix area! We started our afternoon hanging out and getting to know Taylor and Alex at Scorpion Gulch and at the end of the evening, we made our way over to the South Mountain Park area for some more fun shots in the wildflowers that recently bloomed.
These two are a joy to be around and were an ease to photograph. They live in Dallas, TX now but they were previously Arizona desert dwellers. And they will be back next year to tie the knot at Papago Golf Course. We are so excited for their wedding!!!
Taylor and Alex, thank you for such a fun time! We had an absolute blast and we look forward to celebrating your best day ever alongside of you! We already know it’s going to be amazing. Enjoy these Scorpion Gulch and South Mountain Park engagement photos. They are some of our favorites!
