It was the most perfect day for a spring wedding at Omni National Resort here in Tucson. The weather had warmed up, flowers had begun to bloom all over the city, and we had the sweetest couple who was about to walk down the aisle and promise each other forever. It was a momentous and joyous occasion and we got to document it all from beginning to end. And with the help of an incredible team led by Melinda from Omni, Ligia and Arturo’s wedding went off without a hitch. We loved every minute of our time spent with these two and, even more, we loved meeting all of their close family and friends, who would share fond stories of the couple with us throughout the day.

When we first met Ligia and Arturo, what we immediately noticed is the sweet, quiet, and tender ways in which they both loved each other. Ligia and Arturo met while attending college together here at the University of Arizona. Despite their careers separating them to different cities after graduation (Arturo relocated to Phoenix while Ligia remained here in Tucson), they stayed connected. And through the distance, they remained committed in finding a way to reunite again.

And here they are today.

Ligia and Arturo’s Omni wedding was absolutely beautiful… and then some. Located in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, Omni offered an incredible backdrop to their wedding day. For their wedding colors, Ligia and Arturo selected navy and blush with a dash of rose gold sprinkled in. Their floral bouquets and boutonnieres perfectly complemented the spring season with pastel blooms. And what just might be our favorite aspect was all the thought they put into the details to make sure that everyone had fun – they handed out flip flops to make sure the gals were in comfortable dancing shoes, tiaras were again passed out to the gals during the bouquet toss while the guys got their own something special to wear (scroll down to find out what that was) during the garter toss, and towards the end of the night, some more goodies for everyone to play with. These small and simple gestures truly reflected Ligia and Arturo’s warm and fun personalities and just how considerate and thoughtful they are towards everyone around them. Not to mention that Arturo is a huge Marvel fan (speaking to Bryan’s heart right here!), and they even found a way to work that into the wedding! How cool!

Ligia and Arturo, it has been a blessing to have been able to walk this journey with you. We have loved seeing your love grow over the course of your engagement and your faith, trust, and devotion to one another is a testament that love conquers all. We absolutely cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you! We’re wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, and we hope you enjoy some of our favorite moments from the wedding day.
