If we had to pick a favorite type of session and a favorite spot to shoot in Tucson, Mt Lemmon engagement photos would be at the top of our list. Not only does it offer spectacular views, but it’s also a great area to explore and a quick getaway for our couples when they’re looking for adventure and a break from the desert heat. Bringing Lily and Patrick, our most recent couple, up to Mt Lemmon for their engagement session was especially fun for two very special reasons. It’s where they went on their second date and it’s also the same place they returned to when Patrick proposed to Lily! What better place than that very setting for their engagement pictures? Mt Lemmon holds a special place in their hearts and we couldn’t have thought of anything more fitting!

Whenever we get to hang out with our couples, we always love asking about their story. Learning about the two of them- how they met, fell in love, and got engaged always gets us so excited for their wedding! During our time spent with Lily and Patrick, we also learned that Patrick is a professional golfer (imagine Bryan’s envy!) who gets to travel all over for his tournaments. The perks of the job meant that Lily often got to fly out to see Patrick while he was traveling! But Patrick’s career also moved the two of them out to Florida so that Patrick could train with one of the top coaches. So we’re pretty happy to have been able to line up our schedules with the two of them during their visit to Tucson last week!

Lily and Patrick, you two are so awesome!!! Getting to spend some time with you both was such a delight. We hope you enjoy this year of engagement before officially becoming husband and wife. And I (Anh) have all the admiration for Lily, who hiked ALL of Mt Lemmon in the most amazing red high heel shoes! Talk about skill and dedication!
