It’s been a long while since we’ve shot a newborn session but when a fellow photographer and friend asked us to document this special time in their lives, we couldn’t turn it down. You may remember Stephanie and Ryan because we got to shoot their maternity session recently. Getting to see Stephanie and Ryan evolve from a family of three to now a family of four has been such a blessing.

One thing we love about lifestyle sessions is we get to see where people live, where they do life. We get to see little Finley’s crib, where Stephanie nurses him in the late hours of the night, and where Finley’s sister, Liv, likes to play. It just tells such a deeper story to us, one that we love to share because we want Stephanie and Ryan to look back on these days and remember them: the tender and sweet moments, the chaotic and loud moments, and then everything in between. When they look at these photos years from now, we hope the memories will come flooding back as if it were yesterday.
