We were totally smitten by Laura and Erik from the very first moment we met them at a coffee shop. And to be a small part of their love story has been such an honor and a blessing.
Over the past few months, we’ve gotten to learn more about them- like how Erik adorably first lied about his age to impress Laura, how they have the cutest dogs and horses (which they brought along to their engagement session), and how amazing dancers they both are (and they definitely showed off those dance moves on their wedding night!). But the one thing that stands out the most to us is how in tune and well connected they are to each other. We’ve witnessed it time and time again and we realize just how special their love is.
And their wedding day, so thoughtfully planned from beginning to end, was a perfect celebration and reflection of that love. Add the personal touches that made their day so special, and they had us smiling and crying along with them and everyone else. Amongst some of our favorite moments of their wedding day is when Laura and Erik exchanged love letters to each other before the ceremony, discovering they had worked mementos into their wedding day that honored their dogs, and the best part- hearing the toasts and dinner speeches given by family members and their very best friends. Because hearing each and every person’s heartfelt and sentimental stories of Laura and Erik was just a reminder of how perfect they were for one another.
Family and friends traveled from near and far to join in on Laura and Erik’s wedding at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon. The outdoor wedding ceremony allowed everyone to enjoy Tucson’s cooler fall weather with the desert backdrop in the distance and the ambience and views were just spectacular. Shooting there was such a treat!
We had so much fun sharing in their day. Laura and Erik, here’s to the beginning of your happily, ever after! We look forward to following along on this new journey with you!
Also many thanks to the creative team who made the wedding so special and an extra big shoutout to Emily Randall Bloom, because the day would not have gone so flawlessly without her!
